The Oxford Constructing Excellence Club invites you to breakfast and a site visit at :

Paradise Farm  

a large private house with the biggest thatched roof in the UK

Paradise Farm, Swerford Heath Hill, nr Wigginton

 

Paradise Farm is currently under construction and has an enormous 1400m2 thatched roof which is possibly the largest domestic thatched roof in Europe.  This site visit will be lead by Tim Horn, Construction Manager for Kingerlee Ltd and Ben Wolstenholme from Hoare Lea.

  • High quality internal finishes including 8 fireplaces

  • District energy scheme to deliver low-carbon renewable heating

IMPORTANT: You need to bring the following PPE with you in accordance with the site rules, otherwise you will not be permitted on site.  

  • Hard hat
  • High vis vest/jacket
  • Safety boots
Refreshments, including bacon sandwiches, will be provided for all attendees.

This event is FREE for members of the Constructing Excellence Oxford Club.  Due to the extremely limited number of places we are unable to permit members to bring guests.
