About the Speakers

Katie James

A partner in the Business Support and Insolvency Team at Blake Morgan, Katie has worked with distressed businesses, insolvency practitioners and lenders for over 15 years. Whether in administration, liquidation, voluntary arrangement or bankruptcy, Katie has worked with insolvency practitioners to maximise realisations for the benefit of creditors by sales of business, assets, properties or recovery of director's loans, preferences or transactions at undervalue. Katie is a recognised practitioner in Chambers and Partners, and cited as a next generation lawyer in Legal 500.

Richard Wade

Richard heads Blake Morgan's Construction group.  Specialising in construction law, Richard's practice combines both non-contentious work and dispute resolution.  He advises on procurement strategies, construction disputes, contract drafting and negotiation for stand-alone and complex property agreements, building contracts, professional appointments and all related documentation. 

John Green

John is a commercial director at construction company Bouygues UK. His role within the company includes dispute avoidance and resolution on major projects throughout the UK. He works closely with Bouygues' legal team and aims to offer commercial, realistic advice in identifying and avoiding problems in construction projects and in dealing any disputes which arise from time to time.

 

Networking and buffet breakfast is available from 7.30am with the presentation starting at 8am.
