Event Summary

Join senior members of Lichfields’ Thames Valley Office to discuss how the Government is seeking to use the planning system to drive their “Build Build Build” agenda.  Will this assist the delivery of homes and other key development across the Thames Valley?

The seminar will be based around the following key topics:

-            How are Local Planning Authorities currently responding to the Covid 19 World?

-            What changes are the Government proposing to plan for Build Build Build?

-            What opportunities might this present for the Thames Valley?

Speakers:

Daniel is the pre-eminent planning professional working in the Thames Valley and has a long track record of successful schemes. He advises a wide range of private and public sector clients on residential and mixed use development schemes on both green field and complex brownfield sites. Sarah has 18 years experience working with some of the UK’s largest commercial and housing developers.

Both Daniel and Sarah are well connected with key Officers and Members within Local Planning Authorities. They act for many house builders across the Thames Valley and promote sites through the local plan process. Recent projects have included The Horlicks Factory in Slough as well as successfully promoting a residential allocation on land owned by a local charity through the Reading local plan process.

You will be able to submit questions and the panel will select a few to answer during the session.
