Stephen James - Clarkslegal

Join David Stone of Fieldstone DA and Victoria Kempthorne of Clarkslegal for a look at the challenges of analysing delay in construction projects. David and Victoria will be discussing case studies highlighting very different problems arising for parties involved in projects where disputes arose from delays. Discover the key points you need to consider if your project encounters delay, the challenges faced by delay experts, and the various legal implications and issues that arise in disputes over delayed projects.

Speakers:

David Stone, FieldstoneDA: David is an experienced delay analyst who draws on his years of practical experience on live construction projects. He has worked on the preparation of claims, adjudications and arbitrations on both UK and Overseas projects. David has been appointed as an expert on many occasions. He has appeared in court as an expert witness, and also has experience with Insurance claims in construction and engineering.

Victoria Kempthorne, Clarkslegal: Victoria is a senior solicitor in the construction, engineering and environmental projects group at Clarkslegal LLP where she specialises in acting for both public and private sector clients, drafting and negotiating bespoke and industry standard appointment documents and ancillary agreements.
