Hoare Lea Offices, Old Iron Works, 35A Great Clarendon St, Oxford, OX2 6AT

Sami Kamal of Hoare Lea Oxford's Sustainability Team will be giving a brief presentation about the WELL Building Standard and it's ever-growing importance within projects.

About WELL- The WELL Building Standard takes a holistic approach to health in the built environment addressing behaviour, operations and design. WELL is a performance-based system for measuring, certifying, and monitoring features of the built environment that impact human health and well-being, through air, water, nourishment, light, fitness, comfort and mind. WELL is grounded in a body of medical research that explores the connection between the buildings where we spend more than 90 percent of our time, and the health and wellness impacts on us as occupants. WELL Certified™ spaces can help create a built environment that improves the nutrition, fitness, mood, sleep patterns and performance of its occupants.

About Hoare Lea - We have been working in Oxford and its surrounding area for more than 25 years. This ever-expanding office has built a strong local workload within the education, research, heritage and commercial market sectors. Problem solvers who care how a space makes you feel when you step inside – who bring buildings to life. We overcome every challenge with ingenuity, determination, and pride. We take personal responsibility to achieve a shared vision, combining strong relationships with technical excellence. When we embark on a project journey, we are making a commitment to the client and to each other.
