Site Visit of the Fabrica Building

Wednesday 8 July 2026

Hosted by Oberlanders Architects and Bowmer+Kirkland

Wednesday 8 July 2026

Starts at 15:30, finishes 17:00

The 180,000 sq. ft GIA new build project for developer client Mission Street is the first commercial science building in the UK to target BREEAM Outstanding accreditation, boasting a blue roof, PVs, electrical charging points for cars and e-bikes, shower and locker facilities and extensive soft landscaping.

Located on Botley Road in Oxford, and with access to the Hinksey Meadows playing fields, it forms part of Oxford’s new West End development and is the first commercial science development within a 10-minute walking distance from Oxford station, the University of Oxford and the amenities of the city centre.

The 4-5 storey building has been designed flexibly for both lab and office usage around two atria and will include a new 1,700 sq. ft café open to both occupiers and the public.  It will also be Oxford’s first Living Wage building.

Attendees must bring full PPE (incl. gloves) in order to attend. Glasses are not mandatory.

Please notify the event organiser if you have any access requirements on jack@thamesvalleysurveying.co.uk.

IF you are no longer able to attend please notify the event organiser so we can release your space to the next person on the wait list.
